The one-of-a-kind taste of a WHOPPER^® sandwich is what keeps Mr. Lewis up at night. And it should – he’s been making burgers for a long time, starting at a local BURGER KING^® in Minnesota when he was just 16 years old. Realizing that making burgers was more fun than reading textbooks, he continued to work his way up through restaurant management. Subsequently, he landed a regional position at BURGER KING^® Corporation before starting U.S. Restaurants, Inc. in 1985.

U.S. Restaurants, Inc. was founded in 1985 by Mr. Lewis and his partner
Vernon Hill II. The company originally owned and operated 18 BURGER KING^® restaurants, and over time, has expanded to a total of 36 locations. U.S. Restaurants, Inc. is the exclusive BURGER KING^® operator in Bucks and Montgomery Counties and also has locations in Chester and Lancaster Counties (PA) and New Jersey. We employ over 1300 people.
